MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This page summarizes Terms and Conditions for Membership with 16 Things Kids Can Do (hereinafter: 16 THINGS/PLANNED ACTS OF KINDNESS/KARMA CLUB).
Purpose, Goals and Conditions
By joining 16 THINGS/PLANNED ACTS OF KINDNESS/KARMA CLUB, I understand that I am coming together with others in the community who are committed to youth & adult development, healthy living and social responsibility to make sure that everyone regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to lead happier, healthier and more successful lives.
Membership privileges are not transferable, remain the property of the 16 THINGS/PLANNED ACTS OF KINDNESS/KARMA CLUB, and must be returned upon request. Membership in the 16 THINGS/PLANNED ACTS OF KINDNESS/KARMA CLUB continues indefinitely until notice of cancellation is provided by the member or is canceled by the 16 THINGS/PLANNED ACTS OF KINDNESS/KARMA CLUB in accordance with policies and procedures.
Terms and conditions of the Association defined membership are subject to change. I agree to abide by the current membership policies and procedures and the code of conduct/bill of rights, and agree to abide by the rules and policies of the 16 THINGS/PLANNED ACTS OF KINDNESS/KARMA CLUB, including any future changes approved by the governing bodies in accordance with its Charter and Bylaws.
Waiver
I understand that the 16 THINGS/PLANNED ACTS OF KINDNESS/KARMA CLUB assumes no responsibility for injuries or illnesses which I may sustain as a result of my physical condition or resulting from my participation in any activities, sports programs, the use of any equipment, exercise or other activities. I acknowledge on behalf of myself and my heirs that I assume the risk of any and all injuries and illnesses, which may result from my participation any and all activities. I hereby release and discharge and hold harmless 16 THINGS/PLANNED ACTS OF KINDNESS/KARMA CLUB, its affiliates, volunteers, agents, servants, employees and officers from any and all claims for injury, illness, death, loss or damage which I may suffer as a result of my participation in these activities. I understand that the 16 THINGS/PLANNED ACTS OF KINDNESS/KARMA CLUB is not responsible for personal property lost, damaged or stolen while members are preforming said activities. This membership is free and not a contribution the 16 THINGS/PLANNED ACTS OF KINDNESS/KARMA CLUB and is not tax deductible.
Photo/Talent Release
The 16 THINGS/PLANNED ACTS OF KINDNESS/KARMA CLUB periodically takes pictures of 16 THINGS/PLANNED ACTS OF KINDNESS/KARMA CLUB members and persons participating in activities and programs to use for promotional purposes and programming materials including social media and the 16 THINGS/PLANNED ACTS OF KINDNESS/KARMA CLUB website. If you do not want pictures of yourself or your family used in this way, please send us a notice that you will not be participating in events where pictures will be taken.
Any and all pictures/videos you take and post to any social media, print or display source referencing in image or text any 16 THINGS/PLANNED ACTS OF KINDNESS/KARMA CLUB activity you participated in, shall automatically be available to be used without limitation by 16 THINGS/PLANNED ACTS OF KINDNESS/KARMA CLUB in any social media, print, video, or motion graphic.
